Siem Reap by Tuk Tuk 6 Days-5 Nights

Day 01: Siem Reap Arrival
Arrive at Siem Reap airport , our guide will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 02: SIEM REAP by TukTuk                          (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, then start to explore Angkor Wat, highlights to include: South Gate of Angkor Thom cam12known as Big Angkor; Terrace of the Elephants an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants; Baphuon - huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom; Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid; Terrace of the Leper King at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants. After lunch at local restaurant, visit: Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty! Then enjoy a lovely sunset over Angkor complex on the top of Phnom Bakheng Mountain!

(Optional: 1 Elephant ride for 2 people: South Gate to Bayon, around South Gate or ride down for Bakheng Hill)   Buffet dinner with Apsara Dance Show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 03: SIEM REAP by Tuk Tuk                         (B/L/D) 
Breakfast at hotel, visit Small Circuit including: Prasat Kravan, originally constructed by noblemen rather than a king; Banteay Kdei, built in sandstone, it is now deteriorated quite badly; Srah Srang the King's bathing pond, where he washed with his many concubines each day; Takeo - King Suryavarman I commissioned this temple in the 10th Century, but it was never completed; Thommanon - small attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat; Chau Say Tevoda built during the second quarter of the 12th century opposite Thommanon, it was dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu. After Lunch at a local restaurant visit the Grand Circuit including: Preah Khan - meaning The Sacred Sword; Neak Pean - This temple is a delicate highlight of Khmer art; Ta Som was a small classic Bayon style monastic complex consisting of a relatively flat enclosure; Pre Rup was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman and Banteay Samre - large, comparatively flat temple displaying distinctively Angkor style architecture and artistry; East Mebon, built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman, this temple was situated on a small island in the middle of the Oriental, or Eastern, Baray. Return to Siem Reap downtown for dinner and overnight.

DAY 04: Siem Reap by Tuk Tuk                        (B/L/D)
Early morning, transfer to see Sunrise at Angkor Wat temple and then return to hotel for breakfast. Today, visit: Banteay Srei, loosely translates to “citadel of the women, but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings; Kbal Spean temple – there are carvings of Buddha and Buddhist images in the rock that date from a later period than the lingas. After lunch,  visit: Roluos group, one of the earliest Angkor capitals, built by King Indravarman and originally called Hariharalaya; the three Hindu sanctuaries, Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight Siem Reap.

DAY 05: Siem Reap by Tuk Tuk                        (B/L/D)
DSCN0405Breakfast at hotel, then visit Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here, see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Continue to Wat Bo founded in the 18th century, a highly respected pagoda containing very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be late 19th century. Visit Wat Thmei (Killing Field) contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the bones were recovered from a nearby well while others are the remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield. After lunch, visit the Local Market; "Les Artisans D’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts; transfer to Pouk to visit weaving village (Silk Farm). Dinner at local restaurant and then enjoy a 1-hour foot massage and perhaps enjoy Angkor night market. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 06: Siem Reap Departure                          (B))
Breakfast at hotel, free leisure until time transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure flight.
